The Foundation believes and wants what the United States Constitution states:
"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish Justice, insure
domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the
Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution of the
United States of America."

The Foundation will work for a national discussion and agenda which aims to broaden the and understanding subsequent support for the economic, political, and cultural rationales for allowing Puerto Rico to become the 51st State of the Union. By imparting
these opportunities and challenges, we can give Puerto Rico the chance to contribute, compete, and shine as a State to forge
ahead a new and more perfect union:
"We consider as determining factors in our life our citizenship of the United States of America, and
our aspiration, continually to enrich our democratic heritage in the individual and collective enjoyment
of its rights and privileges; our loyalty to the principles of the Federal Constitution; the co-existence in
Puerto Rico of the two great cultures of the American Hemisphere; our fervor for education; our faith in
justice; our devotion to the courageous, industrious, and peaceful way of life; our fidelity to individual
human values above and beyond social position, racial differences, and economic interests; and our hope
for a better world based on these principles."

The Foundation believes that our fellow Americans in the Island ought to have the same rights and privileges to excel and succed
as we enjoy here in the mainland; the same rights and privileges to share in the opportunities and to climb the ladder of prospertiy; the same rights and privileges to reach our full potential which requires commitment, preseverance, equality and the freedom to pursue the American Dream.
